How many mascots ?

This shot was taken just before the Nottingham Forest v Bournemouth football match this afternoon.

Usually, the home team will have a couple of mascots, and the away team may well bring a couple too. But today, two under 7 Primary school football teams were the guests of the club - and they all joined in the hand-shaking and ceremonial photo before kick off. Particularly cute was the tiny one with the enormous shirt !

The youngsters also did a very entertaining relay at half time.

The match was not wonderful. There was a very nasty injury to the Bournemouth goalkeeper in the first half and it meant that there was a seven minute hold up as his dislocated shoulder was strapped and he was carried away to go to hospital.
Forest scored a wonderful goal (Henri Lansbury) but spurned at least three easy chances - only to concede an equaliser late on in the second half !!!
