Dipper Discovery Today!

I actually went looking for more Jays today to see if I could get a better shot than my last one. My other half had seen quite a lot of them while driving to Glen Orchy so headed there this afternoon.

Took some shots of the river, the trees in their Autumn glory and the hills .... stunning! I was happy I had my blip for the day even if I didn't see a Jay.

Went down for one wee final walk along another bit of the river when my other half ( he is so good at spotting birds) caught sight of a little Dipper. It is the first one we have seen this year. Definitely one of my favourite birds. The quality of this shot is not quite as good as I had hoped but it just had to move to first place and be my blip for today!
