Anyone ever thought WHY

Have I never seen any army recruiting officers in Newton Mearns, Giffnock, Bridge of Weir, Bearsden or the like.
It is always towns and villages with high levels of unemployment, deprivation, and poverty.
This was Dumbarton town centre this morning, I use the term town centre loosely, most shops are shuttered, no investment for 30years.
Alas this will be the same scene in the welsh valleys, Merseyside, Tyneside, Barnsley and many more communities with their hearts torn out.
How long are we going to let this go on for.?????
