Pink

There's something about pink berries which is rather exciting. I also love spindle, with its orange inside a bright pink cup. This is a rowan, and the berries last well into the new year, still bright pink even under snow. I think they maybe don't taste very good -they do get eaten, but not till everything else has gone.
I think the dead bunch are last year's, still hanging on.
