Free Fruit (and herbs) Day

We gathered a bumper crop for this year's Free Fruit Day in Reigate. Apples (mostly) from gardens, allotments, pub car parks, that would otherwise just fall and go to waste.

A lot of people seem surprised to be offered something for free - "what's the catch?" or "what's wrong with them?" - but then get quite enthused by the number of different varieties of apple on offer, most of which you don't see in the shops.
