The Bakersfield Glee Club

Took my lovely family off to the Retreat Hotel today to see my friend Seamus play pedal steel guitar in his country music band. We've seen them many times - Zali first went to one of their gigs when she was about 3 months old!! - in pubs all over Melbourne, but this was their CD launch so we couldn't miss it.

I had to drag Zali off the dance floor kicking and screaming and in tears. Seriously.

Hope you've all had a good day or are having a good day. Hoping for some me time tomorrow to catch up with blip (I always say that, but I do genuinely mean it..there doesn't seem to be enough time lately to do everything I need to do). Thanks for all the lovely comments over the past few days...will try to get to them too :)
