Hebe - two for the price of one

I've uploaded two versions of this shot of my hebe shrub. There are almost 100 species and I don't know which one this is. Hebe was the Greek goddess of youth and the genus originated from New Zealand. Maybe having the plant around keeps you young - can't be bad! It seems to be flourishing here and is continuing to produce these beautiful purple spiky flowers. The shot on the left has been given the polar coordinates filter. The water droplets are real and today is exceedingly wet!
