Covered Market: Morning Preparations
More atmospheric in large ("L").
I decided to go with an early blip rather than back-blipping tomorrow... I wandered through the covered market just after it opened this morning; the atmosphere is great there in the morning when there are no shoppers but just the various shops making their preparations for the day. Here, the butchers (reflected in the window on the right) are cutting up meat for the displays, and the greengrocer is putting out vegetables.
The covered markets is a wonderful place at all times, but I particularly like the quiet but industrious feel just after it opens. The low light also makes it easier to capture the dimly lit interior without the entrances and high windows becoming overexposed...
p.s. One of the butchers had just spotted the reflection of me lurking in the shadows next to their window!
p.p.s. I applied bleach bypass (gently) to give this a slightly desaturated and crisp feel.
