Grasmere reflections

Stunning day at Grasmere, although lighting levels were "subtle" little wind meant long periods of calm water through the day interspersed with - at times - quite heavy showers. I used a 0.75 hard grad on the sky and a 0.45 hard grad on the water, to leave the land between unfiltered and managed to retain some good tones in them.

A big-stopper (10 stop ND), enabled me to use a 66(?) second exposure to smooth out the slight ripple in the water - the long coloured lines in the lake are leaves slowly floating by!

Fabulous week, challenging weather, great group, but I don't think any new blippers. Did have Keith Knight with us though
