Yellow-rumped Warbler

I continued my attempts at getting a decent image of a Yellow-rumped Warbler today by getting out earlier in the late afternoon. Ended up with a nice set of Bluebird pictures and also some nice close-ups of a Black Phoebe.

This is the best of the Yellow-rumped Warbler pictures. It is the "Audubon's Warbler" subspecies with yellow throat and no eyebrow.

We saw several other birds including a nuthatch, Great Blue Heron, Egyptian Geese, Robins, and a Nuttall's Woodpecker. Unfortunately many were spotted as we were losing the light.

The highlight of our walk is that as we were coming around the south end and were headed east we saw the full moon rising from behind the hills. It was a beautiful moon rise.
