Taking flight...

Every year I wait for the colors to change, and the lake to reflect all the shades of fall that I love. When it finally arrives, I find myself wishing it would last forever. This lake has been such a big part of my life over the last 9 1/2 years. I have taken thousands of pictures here, in every weather condition imaginable. I will miss this lake & say my final good-byes in the next few weeks. Parting truly is sweet sorrow.
