Spotty-Dotty
This Monarch butterfly was flapping around the garden this morning - and I mean flapping! It sounded like a bird when it flew past me!
I'm always trying to get a photo of a Monarch butterfly, but they always fly away as soon as I get close. This one seemed a bit dopey; maybe it had had too much pollen, or it could have had an all night bender!
It was fascinating to see one up close.
I managed to get a few shots before it took flight. Unfortunately, the one shot I got of it with it's pollen-coated tongue out, was out of focus. Grrr!
