Liverpool 1

Went to the hospital to visit Mike's dad this afternoon, he's been in 2 weeks now and thankfully the pneumonia is clearing, he's had some tests and we are just waiting for the results now.

He's gone off his feet and the physio's are working hard to get him mobile again. We spent the hour chatting and trying to cheer him up he looked so vulnerable sitting there.

After the visit we went to Liverpool and had a cracking meal and then looked for Mike's sister who flew in from Jersey yesterday, we left a message at the hotel to say we'd called. Just as we were leaving Liverpool Richard rang so we turned around and met up with them for the evening it was great to see them both. They'll be coming over to Wales on Tuesday so we'll probably go out for a meal.

We just got through the Mersey Tunnel before it closed for repairs
