To Boldly Go
This is Mr. George Takei. I attended a luncheon today at which he spoke about a range of topics; from his internment in a prison camp as a young boy during WWII, to the ineptitude of today's Congress, to the need for universal rights for the homosexual community. He was gracious, patient, funny, and sincere. He took his time and wanted to meet every person he could (until his handlers rushed him off). It was a true treat to meet such a good man.
