Friday: Budapest Opera House

We have come away for the weekend with our friends, Los Hermanos.  We left after work and, after a three and a half hour drive, we are now in Budapest.

We arrived around 8.30pm so just in time to head out for some dinner nearby.  First impressions are amazing - what a grand, impressive city.  Every building more beautiful than the next.  Looking forward to exploring properly tomorrow.

This is the latest we have been up for a while.  Our jet lag this week has had us in bed by  9.30pm every night.  It's nearly midnight now and I feel positively radical!
