Aviemore

We took the Gold Bus up to Aviemore today...... we wanted to recce a walk for our February break, as one of our walks did not work out when we were up recently. So we decided to save the club some money by going up on the bus.

We enjoyed the experience, the Gold Bus is very enjoyable. We had coffee and sandwiches, shortbread and soft drinks, and it had beautiful leather seats and tables between the seats. Very nice.

We had a lovely meal in the Cairngorm Hotel in the evening, and then had an early night so that we could get on our way early on Friday. Aviemore is a strange mixture, and I find the Aviemore Centre a dreary place. That said, we had a nice room with a good bed and great shower, so what more can youa sk for.
