The Valley Dweller

Crocus vallicola which grows wild on valley sides in NE Turkey and adjacent areas of the former Soviet Union. The pale flowers have variable methyl blue veins and very characteristic wispy tips to the petals. Not difficult to grow in the UK, it is very hardy and likes a sunny spot in moisture retentive soil.
