The Stra-business!

I woke up today at the crack of dawn (or it might have been 8am, but I'm on vaca from school so it could have been 4am for all I knew) to talk to my sister on Skype. Good times catching up and coming up with my/our new favorite catch phrase, "Stra-business." The new catch phrase if from the sometimes lack of awesome connection that Skyping from Seattle to Amman can provide. I misunderstood what she said and thought she said, "Stra-business!" This then provided us with longer then it should have, but many many minutes of using the new word as if it really meant something. Such as...

"Thats right, I love it...its the stra-business"/ "I'm gonna tell my professors I couldn't get my Arabic homework done cause I was too busy with my stra-business"/ "You better tell her its the stra-business"/etc....

Anyways, eventually got out of bed and had a lovely day out with Colette today! As school approaches again the day after tomorrow after a week long break, Colette and I went out lunch and then shopped/walked/talked all around Taj Mall in Abdoun today. We went to a new place for lunch, "Zee Diner" that served delicious American food so we indulged and got ourselves the classic American meal... a hamburger and fries. Couldn't resist.

After lunch we walked over the Taj Mall where we window shopped, drooled over all of the designer brands that filled the mall, and then almost had heart attacks after looking at the insane imported prices of these goods. We had a few firsts as well. I had Pinkberry for the first time and Colette went to the wonderful "Spinny's" grocery store for the first time. A great day all and all...or should I say...."it was the stra-business!"
