USA Day 7 - Top of the Rock

This may be the first blog entry that isn't being written while i am still feeling the effects of drinking. Today being the first day when it hasn't been raining in New York we decided to visit Top of the Rock. Having been in New York before and only visiting the empire state this new perspective on the skyline was a highly anticipated part of the trip. It intact was better than I expected as you have both veiws of the empire state building and central park.

After shopping in soho this afternoon we decided to eat in Chinatown, we followed the guide books recomendation and ate in a dumpling bar. This may be one of the best and certainly the cheepest meal we have had so far.

This evening we decided to sample some culture and visited the Lincoln center for one of there free out door showings of met opera. This evenings performance was a very enjoyable Romeo and Julliet.
