Too much understanding?

...and not enough punishment? I was impressed by the police presence in Barcelona City. Despite being spooked by hideous tales of muggings and pickpocketing in the popular travel guides, wandering the streets called for little more than common sense.

And then when we reached the airport this afternoon our flight home was delayed while the local Police removed a passenger from the incoming flight from newcastle for being aggressive and abusive to others on the plane. What makes these people think that their behaviour is a right, something the silent, well behaved majority should tolerate.

Well done to the flight crew who arranged his transit to a local cell where I hope the understanding is both forceful and the punishment equally just. And commiserations to the other passengers who had the start of their weekend break sullied by the behaviour of a moron.
