Calendula & Rain

It has rained off and on all day but it is very mild and there's no wind.

This afternoon the rain stopped for a couple of hours so I went into the garden and started trimming back the Twisted Hazel, I also took some photos for blip.

Today's blip is a Pot Marigold, complete with raindrops. I've been experimenting with assorted iPad photo apps and this was done using Pip Camera, which has a variety of free templates of frames and colour effects - I will experiment with more apps as the winter months go by.

Good news on the plastic cladding front: Simon (from yesterday's story) turned up trumps and phoned to let me know the delivery was on it's way and 20 minutes later the delivery man arrived, in the pouring rain with a broad smile and sunny disposition. Such a pleasure to deal with a company where the staff are pleasant, polite and do their job properly!
