Bright in Bristol

The forecast for today, especially in in the SW, was awful, but here I am walking from the nearest station along the road where my daughter lives. It is bright and sunny and I couldn't resist taking this glorious tree against the sky and white walled houses. I was far too warm in my autumnal sweater!

When she got in from work we went for our now traditional (when I come down on my own) Champagne afternoon tea at Brown's near the University.

We are now going to have a Friday night chill before hitting the streets tomorrow.
