Self portrait

This is to celebrate the return of my camera. It arrived back this afternoon, just 48 hours after I took it to the Canon service centre for repair.

I am seriously impressed. The problem was a scratched preview screen. This involved a replacement of the complete LCD viewer assembly. You would have thought that an easily replaceable protective cover would be sensible.

They also did a full service and clean of the camera and my 24-105 lens that I dropped when in Namibia.

I have bought a protective screen to prevent this happening again.
