Distinctly autumnal day, grey skies and a chill air. Took bags of wallpaper to the skip at Fraserburgh, made pea and mint soup and a crumble topping for my newly cleaned out freezer - Callum, Lynn, Catherine and Izzy are coming north for the October week - so I'm stocking up! Phoned double glazing company about the non- appearance of our windows. It's a long, sorry tale but we've had no curtains/ blinds since the end of July! Neighbours must think we're total exhibitionists!
