I was lost but now I'm found

Spent one of our favourite holiday days at Traquair House. Stunning location that could easily be cold and 'worthy' but decides instead (with a keen fiscal eye I'm sure) to concentrate on the family day-out market.

Pigs and goats to pet, an assault course to fall off (just me), woods to explore and a brilliant cafe.

We managed to get properly lost in the maze (ran out of conkers we were using as trail markers. Who would have thought that a beech and fir hedge could be such fun! Crawling under a hedge to reach the centre is just using your initiative right?
