Don't leave me Mummy!

Relieved to break up for half-term today and enjoyed attending the Swimarathon Presentation to watch a team of my pupils receive the Primary Schools' Trophy for swimming the most laps. Very proud of their efforts in the pool and also the fantastic amount of money they have raised as a school for a very worthy cause. Among our 4 pupil teams and staff team, we raised £927. The Skipton Swimarathon raised £45000 in total; a brilliant community achievement!
The rest of my evening was spent packing for a short break away and my little girl, Roxy, got quite upset, jumped into the suitcase and started pleading with me to not go away again. The last time I packed to go away, Roxy and her brother both curled up on top of the suitcases in protest.
Sad to be leaving her on her own this time with no big brother to look after her. Won't be gone for long though and Nana and Pops will look after her.
