Ladybird, ladybird fly away home

As I was sitting having coffee with my friends this afternoon I could see lots of small things flying around the garden but couldn't work out what they were. As soon as I got the chance I got my camera and went out to investigate but couldn't see anything. I then went round to the front of the house, which was basking in the late afternoon sun, only to find the wall absolutely covered in ladybirds. I was amazed at the varience in colours and patterns on them - no two were the same.
Two hours later they had all gone so I can only assume they have found a home to fly away to.
