The Sentinel

Aslan sits at his look-out. Every day, around this time, if I am at work in the study, he leaps up to watch out for the return of the wanderers.
If I am not in, but have left the computer on, he will sometimes leave messages on whatever it is I have written, careful to walk across the keyboard at least twice.
Today our feline friend forced his paws through a pile of books to find his watchpost, and waited with some patience for brother Joseph - normally the sign that feeding time has arrived.
