Red October
Took Cooriedog down to the golf course for a walk this morning. She just loves the wide open spaces and chases after the birds, barking to make sure they fly off before she ever gets near them. She runs herself fitter and tired which are the purposes of the exercise. I wonder whether I should chase birds to get fitter.
There are few golfers around. Too wet for them.
The predominant colour on the fringes of the course is red. Rowan berries, hawthorn berries and rose hips are chasing all the other colours away. Enough there to keep a good size bird population going for some time I would imagine.
I waited a little time for the drip to fall from the hip in this shot. It wasn't going to happen.
