A Pleasant Surprise

Just as I arrived home after work, the missus got a phone call on her phone from a blocked number. She's had quite a few sales calls in the past, so she usually just ignores them, however this one phoned back immediately after. After deciding to answer it, it turned out to be none other than Dave Connor from Forth One, informing her that she'd won the 'Thousand Pound Thursday' competition, and that Boogie was on his way round with the money.

A pleasant surprise indeed, considering it's Aidan's birthday on Sunday, and we're off to CenterParcs in November!

I tried explaining to Aidan that the man we listen to on the radio in the car in the morning ("Boogie") would be coming round to see us - he then asked why the "Boogie-man" was coming round to the house... :)
