Shiny and new

We's all bright and shiny now! The dingy asbestos mix board has gone and nice white UPVC put in its place. I must admit that it was rather alarming the way the two workmen bashed the board away with no face mask protection and then threw it in the van! We made sure that the front windows were all shut as we didn't want any of the dust getting in here. They knew it was asbestos mix and it was in their contract so I guess if they want to be cavalier about it, it's up to them! Anyway, they were efficient and polite and look as though they've done a good job. My constant supply of cups of tea probably helped ;-)

Have got piles and piles of ironing done today - just decided not to go out at all even thought the weather was lovely as it just had to be got through! And it was, so I'm very pleased. :-)
