Fraxinus angustifolia?

I was on my way across the campus to get the shuttle bus to the station when I noticed these lovely trees starting to develop their autumn colours - I think it may be one of these that bignonsense blipped recently. (I'll check the bud colour at some point, T!)

Another long train journey, arriving home shortly before D who'd been to Uncle Bert's funeral in Glasgow. I only met him once but treasure the memory of a wonderful man. We'll raise a dram to him tonight.
