Folkie and BeautifulLife here for dinner!

Last night we were graced by the presence of Folkiebooknerd - in town from Liverpool - and BeautifulLife, a Portland blipper. What a joy to spend time with these two, and B.L.'s lovely dog Prise (who Liza tolerated quite well!).

We sat in the back yard (sunshine!) and visited and watched the toddlers until, one by one, they were fetched by their parents. Then serious dinner prep occurred - root vegetable chopping and roasting, good peasant fare to ground our wide reaching conversation.

I had high hopes of a round of song sharing or a walk/scoot up to Hawthorne after dinner, but we were all knackered - I was sound asleep on the couch moments after our lovely guests departed. We're hoping for another meetup early next week; I did not get enough!
