Porty People and Places.

I had the beach to myself this morning. The rain and low cloud were not conducive to loitering. I love this misty kind of day with Arthur's Seat reluctantly casting its cloudy duvet while the promenade takes a half term breather from all those purposeful young feet powering scooters schoolwards!

I like this view of the old funfair site being rapidly turned into flats. The pile driver and concrete pouring crane are almost in the same position and height as the former wooden roller coaster that used to dominate this site in the 1920's.

We had a ten o'clock time slot at Parliament to see Andy Warhol's Exhibition Pop, Power and Politics. I highly commend it. Working since then on ongoing work projects from home.
