Indian Summer

Super day outside. This morning the entire Northern chain of the alps was visible with many white tops already. By lunch time, the sky was hazy, but still made super weather for a bike ride. You can just make out the fresh white snow of the Orobie mountains above Bergamo in this photo.

I've blipped this bridge on several occasions and now from the vantage point of a new foot bridge which connects the old part of Vaprio with a small road along the top of the canal above the river. I suffered walking down a cobbled stairway in my bike shoes to get this shot, but well worth the vantage point looking across the river to Canonica D'Adda.

Vaprio D'Adda is celebrating the 500th anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci who likes to claim him since he spent many years here during his life.
