Sharon fruit

Again, had a pretty bad sleep. 3 of the Chinese people in our room are all now bestos! They were chatting for hours and showing each other pictures for ages... camera made a really annoying clicky noise. Took some more pills for my head in the middle of the night and masses of water. One of the Chinese men was extremely creepy and kept staring at us both constantly. Anyway, the alarm went off in the morning and I got up and got changed and sat on my phone. We facebooked each other so we didn't wake up the others. Decided we might as well go tomorrow as we are both still ill. Got the giggles when the other people in the room got up as they were still being creepy and Morag and I were sending messages about it. Looked like fools... as per! Packed our bags and took them down stairs to change rooms. They weren't ready so we dumped them in reception. We both laughed as all the other luggage was nice suitcases and here we were with our huge backpack, me with 2 extra bags as I packed badly and Morag with 4 extra bags!! Met a nice Italian guy just as we left, he has just been to Sydney so he was telling us about it. Had some very early lunch but I definitely need to get something good as this morning I nearly fainted. We were the only people in this huge restaurant and only 1 person worked there. Had Japanese rice with chicken. Wasn't the most exciting thing I have ever eaten. Eaten lots of Japanese in Taiwan and Morag and I have come to a conclusion that it is a joke! Boiling in there so we headed out and took the MRT to Guting. Our plan was to go to Yankong market but we got lost. Guting was a pretty boring place. We saw quite a few uni students there. Stopped at Mr.Papa which was a waffle place. Cheapest thing was a honey, lemon drink. Got a sore throat so it was probably quite good for it. From Guting we went to Yankong market. Wasn't a market but we explored the place. Went down some little streets and Morag had her first Sharon Fruit, unfortunately they we not ripe so pretty disgusting. They were absolutely gigantic so a bit of a waste in the end. Found a park!! Sat and watched all the locals with their 'very precious' dogs. It was a very entertaining viewing. Some people even had prams for their dogs!! MRT back to Ximen and then we checked into our new dorm room in a new hostel. A little tricky as one of my flips flips broke so I had to walk with one bare foot. We walked past our very first 'hotel' the lady saw us which was awkward. Didn't say before but the lady in there can't move her face at all so she has no expressions. New dorm is smaller and has no window but still good. Supper time was at a gratin place. We got free bacon and sweetcorn soup and a bit of garlic bread and cream bread. Then I got the disgusting lasagna after that. Back in hostel for a early bed. Really long hot shower! Before getting cold again getting into bed!
