Paulownia tomentosa

I wish I knew why this land-owner has planted two of these trees. It's a mystery, because they each completely cover two olive trees which doesn't seem to make sense. They look really fabulous though and here you can see the unripe seed pods together with the first signs of next year's flower buds.
