Liv's 21st
My favourite photo from tonight - as I said when I took it, it looks like the DVD cover of a new sitcom about a group of friends.
Today was insanely busy. Dad and I went out to Thornbury (northern suburbs represent - I spent my first year in Australia there) to go to a picture framing place recommended to me by the person I met at NMIT. I got some useful information about mounting photos for my folio and was told to come back with my photos once I'd picked them.
I rushed home and then back out to drop my things for tonight at Julia's, before heading down to the Prahran Town Hall for my last Fringe shift. It was another Digital Gardens shift so I knew what I was doing. It was less fun than the first one though, probably because I'd done it all before.
After the shift I headed back to Julia's and we beautified ourselves and gathered up the present and all my photography gear before setting off to the party. I was a bit worried about doing the photography, but it turned out to be fine - the flash worked well and I got some really nice photos. The party was great, especially once I handed the camera off to Dad and got to relax and enjoy myself. We stayed until the very end, which is always a sign of a great night!
I love the lighting in this photo, and the fact that everyone is in focus. They arranged themselves nicely which helped! Just a really great photo of some of my favourite people.
