pulque virgen

commences a great weekend where i spend lots of time with my roomies.
night of the virgen mary being carried out of the city. streets filled with people sleeping in them to wait for the procession.
me, mayra, sara, mike and angel (the last two an extremely dramatic couple the first two featured in this pic) wondered about drinking and nattering up and down guadalajara. we wondered int o their friends pulqueria.
it was bloody delicious.. on its own not so much. apparently its fermented cow poo. but with mint. wowowowowow. or strawberry. delicious.
