Hidden valley

I don't know if the picture shows it well, but yesterday morning the valley across from my house was completely full of mist, like it was full of marshmallow! It looked beautiful with the pink sky above from a stunning sunrise!

One of my best students hit another student today, I was so gutted and he was really upset that having totally lost it he realised it could see him expelled from college. His disciplinary is Tuesday and I am going to fight to keep a lad who so needs to be in college as he doesn't have much else in his life right now. It reminds me - as if I could forget - that for my students the college experience, the friends, self confidence and self esteem they get from just being there outweighs the qualifications they are working towards. How some of these kids get up each morning with the lives they have astounds me! I am very proud of each and every one of them, including those who make me want to pull my hair out most of the time :)
