Should have stayed at the coast

Visited my brother in Essex today and took the boys and Maya to the local park. Maya loves water so was kept on the lead... but can the wildlife read too? Was it the algae or the no fishing keeping the gull out of the water?

Have read about this algae in the news but have not come across it our way. I am glad they put signs up.
