Another world

I went for a walk this morning along one of my favourite back roads. Just a few meters off the road into the forest is this burnt out stump. There's a small seasonal creek close by. I love this spot, so peaceful and quiet.
I'm very lucky to go out my door and have miles to walk, along a fairly quiet main road or very quiet back roads or trails in the forest. The forest is magical, like another world.
