35 years ago, April was in my Y11 (fifth form as it was then). She was 16 and I was 23. We have now worked together in the English Dept for 7 years - for most of those she was my second in Department. More than that, she is a little treasure - loyal, kind and a good teacher. Strangely, school is a bit of sanity in the difficulties of the moment and it's people like April who help to create that relative peace. Never thought I would say that about school. Oh, on the subject of fish pie, Dad managed a couple of spoonful. All getting increasingly difficult with Mom.
