Brotherly love

We went to Blair Drummond today, had a fantastic day out, tons of pictures and my blip was going to be a lion but chose this instead.

Alfie loves a game of mario kart and its his treat every few days if he's behaved etc. Ellie is always trying to play the with him but is still too little to really understand all the controls.

Today, as usual, Ellie was bouncing off the railings with her kart and not really getting anywhere very fast, extremely frustrating for her and she was getting quite annoyed, she is the bottom picture in 12th place. (I would normally sit and help but was taking the opportunity of them playing together for a quick hot cuppa!)

However, Alfie decided on his last lap to wait at the finishing line while she crashed, stalled etc through her laps. He's the top picture in 11th place (down from 1st). When I said he was going to lose 'the cup' overall he turned round and said 'it doesn't matter I want to make my sister happy by finishing the race together'.....Awwww, yes, they can be hard work with temper tantrums, crying etc but moments like this make it worthwhile.
