Village View!!

This is where our village lies, among the fields and trees below this hill. The church tower can be seen, and most of the village houses are within a mile of it.
I had to be in town for a very early appointment at 8.30 am this morning, and on the way there I was musing on how, a few years ago, I would have been already at school by this time in the morning!
An enjoyable lunch with some friends at a pub nearby - from where I took this photograph. Just 8 of us, enjoying the view in the sunshine after a morning of heavy rain!
Another meeting tonight - three nights in a row is too many! This is a serious PCC meeting - no refreshments at all, in contrast with last night's bounty.
