Electricity

Okay, so the flat I've moved into... it's old. This is the electricity meter for the upstairs part of this cottage, the part I'm renting out. Coming here is a little like going back in time. This box takes 50 pence pieces, the old ones they don't use anymore. So what you do is when the little dial gets close to zero (because you decided to use a lamp and the toaster at the same time) you cycle a few coins through and all is good, for a while. I'm being a bit harsh. I've only put in £3 and I've been here for a couple weeks. Never had an electric bill so I dunno what's normal. I only popped the heater on once for 10 minutes. We'll see how things go in a couple months.
