Gunnera

It's almost time to put the gunnera to bed, which means cutting it down, wrapping it in straw and covering it in a hessian sack to protect it from frost and snow during the winter. But I can't quite bring myself to do it yet. It's still putting on such a great show and the weather in the coming days is supposed to be wetter but milder so it has a stay of execution. Hopefully we will manage to do it before a severe frost hits it.
