TL;DR: this entry is definitely not too long, so just read it, lazy hater.

This is Colin, using the welding boy to put together the casing of the longtail motor. At this point, we were about halfway through getting it done. Unfortunately welding is too tricky for noobs like us, so Colin and God handled it all of the time. We got to appreciate how tricky it is to align elements perfectly though, especially considering thermal contraction is something. Anyway, this is what we worked on most of the day, helping out where we could with the assembly process. I managed to get the generator going when the power went off which was cool. We get on really well with Colin, which is making our time in Uganda even more awesome than it already is (which I'm confident enough to say, goes for everybody who was there with us). When it was raining though, I definitely did just lie on the couch and fall asleep...
