Thanks, Ted

Ted Kennedy served our state as US senator for longer than I've been alive, and his death and funeral have been the biggest news locally -- perhaps nationally. Flags have been flying at half mast all over Massachusetts, and signs like this are everywhere. It was an unseasonably cold and rainy day... solemn weather for a solemn occasion. Watched bits and pieces of the funeral mass on TV, and was touched by the eulogy presented by President Obama -- he made it very personal and nonpolitical.

Not a typical blip from me, but this has been a not-so-typical Saturday.
