Walk The Walk(man)
Catching up with tv, 'interweb and things in general that can be achieved from sitting on the sofa.
Surprising really as I've spent the last three weeks sitting on it but a lot of the time I'm just not in the mood for it or can't really concentrate.
The only thing that seems to hold my attention is reading. My Discworld journey continues.
This is a lazy Blip. Sorry.
This is my favourite gadget. My Walkman. Awesome piece of gear. Not tied to Apple (scum) by a 'pod.
As I type Jeff Buckley is singing "What Will You Say". If the hairs don't stand up on the back of your neck listening to him sing to his father who, in his opinion, abandoned him as a child.
Buckley is one of these unique artists who would have truly pushed the boundries of what we recognise as popular rock music and taken it in a new direction.
He already had began that journey which was causing Sony nightmares.
I regret not having seen Jeff Buckley live. I did have the chance. He played at La Belle Angel in Edinburgh.
If you want to read his biography, which incoproprates his father's, get "Dream Brother" and it explains the story.
I still can't believe he is gone.
